The Mobile Base is equipped with four locking swivel casters. It can be moved easily from place to place at home and in the classroom. The Sitter can be tilted up to 25 degrees within the base frame.
The Stationary Base is equipped with furniture glides to protect your floors. The Sitter can be tilted up to 25 degrees within the base frame.
Please match Base size to Sitter size. The smaller wooden base (both styles) accommodates Soft-Touch Sitters size 1-3. The larger wooden base (both styles) accommodates Soft-Touch Sitters size 4-5.
The Special Tomato Wooden Bases have been tested above the stated weight capacity for hundreds of cycles without any sign of stress. These bases are extremely strong!
